Under the hood
  1. Each video was scanned once at one frame per second; scene changes (a new screen, a new slide) split it into segments of at most 30 seconds. The strip under the player shows them.
  2. Every segment gets two fingerprints of what it shows: one from its middle frame and one from a short clip of up to 12 frames.
  3. Your words or your screenshot are processed in this browser and compared with those fingerprints. The best segment of each video is shown, with other good moments as extra chips.
  4. A screen capture takes a single frame and stops sharing immediately. Nothing is uploaded.
